
I Thomas Marshall of Buddington in the Parish of Easebourne in the County of
Sussex, yeoman. Do make and declare this my last Will and Testament

erected on a piece or parcell of ground which I formely purchased of one Thomas
Ayling containing in length forty foot more or less and in breadth thirty two foot or
thereabouts being a parcell of the premises called by the name of .........?
........................... ................. are situate lying and being in the Tything of Ambersome
in the County of Southton and now in the occupation of Eliz Wi...... ? Widow
.................."
The wife and childrens names are repeated twice more further into the Will, but with
'Eliz' spelt out in full as 'Elizabeth'.
